Yung Drew's Hip Hop Music

According to HipHopDX, the legendary Ice-T had some words for Soulja Boy… He told Soulja boy to quote: “EAT A DICK.” Here is a reprint of the exact article:

“Fuck Soulja Boy! Eat a dick! This nigga single handedly killed Hip Hop.”

Those are the words of Gangsta Rap veteran, Ice-T, who appears on DJ Cisco’s Urban Legend mixtape with a few choice words about Soulja Boy.

“That shit is such garbage man,” Ice-T continues to snarl. “We came all the way from Rakim, we came all the way from Das EFX, we came all the way from motherfuckers flowing like Big Daddy Kane and Ice Cube, and you come with that Superman shit? That shit is garbage.”

Apparently, Soulja Boy isn’t the only one in Ice-T’s sights. The rapper had a few things to say about another young rapper.

“Hurricane (Chris) take them fucking beads out of your hair nigga! Man up. You niggas is making me feel real fucking mad about this shit.”

What do I think: I think that Ice-T needs to shut the fuck up. Even though I personally am not a huge Soulja Boy fan or Hurricane Chris fan, they are all doin their thing and trying to make a better life for themselves… They didn’t become popular by having people not like their music!! Everyone has different tastes and the mainstream crowd was feelin Soulja Boy…

Everyone liked the song “Crank Dat” at parties… I’ll even admit that I enjoyed the song when it first dropped. It was catchy and fun to listen to… Just because it doesn’t have deep lyrical substance doesn’t mean that it’s terrible music. If music keeps you entertained and you enjoy it (no matter how good or bad it is), it’s fun to listen to.

A Final Note: Until Ice-T even becomes relevant again, he needs to learn how to keep his fucking mouth shut and have some respect for artists taking a different approach to making hip-hop / rap / snap / club / whatever type music… Music is music: if you like it great, if you don’t fine… no need to tell that person to “Eat A Dick.” Just pure disrespect… Real Talk.

Tonight we have game 6 of the N.B.A. Finals in Boston starting @ 9 P.M. E/T on ABC. It is in your best interest to watch as much of this game as possible. L.A. eeked out the win in game 5, but I sincerely hope that Boston slaughters the Lakers to avoid a game 7. In my opinion, if this series goes to game 7, L.A. will probably take it. Ray Allen, Doc Rivers, Allen off the bench, Cassell, all need to step up and have big games!!

Hopefully Boston, especially Kevin Garnett comes to play tonight and Paul Pierce gets M.V.P. of the N.B.A. Finals. Kobe should choke if Boston keeps playing solid defense. We got the home court (The Garden), the crowd behind us, and Yung Drew’s prediction of 4 games to 2 in favor of Boston to live up to!!
