Here is a video of Shaq dissing Kobe Bryant while performing a freestyle at a New York party. Shaq proceeds to rip Kobe a new asshole and got into a little bit of trouble. Video footage is provided courtesy of TMZ… For some damn reason though, the video won’t stay up, but i think I finally got this ish. Bear with me, it should be a YouTube vid… HOLLA ATCHYA BOY.
Update: Shaq told Stephen A. Smith that it was all jokes and fun. Here’s what the animal had to say for himself when discussing the Kobe Bryant diss:
“I was freestyling. That’s all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever. That is what mc’s do. They freestyle when called upon. I’m totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all. And by the way, don’t forget, six albums, two platinum, two gold. Anybody who knows me knows I’m a funny freestyler. Check the NBA DVD when I was wrapping about Vlade Divac during my first championship run. Please tell everybody don’t make something out of nothing.”
Could shit quickly turn into Jigga / Nas type beef?? Hmm… likely, very likely… *winks*
Arguably the most powerful rapper in the world (Jay-Z) pays Lil Wayne a compliment in the song “Mr. Carter” and Lil Wayne the gremlin, (with his higher than average I.Q.), doesn’t even understand the compliment until somebody points it out to him and explains it!!
Here is a little interview Rolling Stone did with Lil Wayne:
Rolling Stone: On “Mr. Carter,” Jay-Z calls you “my heir, Young Carter” — that had to feel pretty cool…
The Gremlin: That line right there was hard! Unbelievable. I didn’t even realize it at first. My homie had to tell me “You know what he said, right?” I didn’t even get it. I was like, “Why is he saying ‘air’? Is he just talking about the air?” But I’m smart enough to know that he’s smart enough not to just be talking about the air. I felt real dumb, but then I felt so good. It was an incredible compliment.
Here is Jay-Z’s verse on the track “Mr. Carter” off of Tha Carter III:
I’m right, cheah
In my chair
With my crown, with my dear
Queen Bee, as I share
Mic time, with my heir
Young Carter
Go farther
Go further
Go harder
Is that not
Why we came? and if not,
Then why bother?
Here is a little clip of P. Diddy and Lil Wayne discussing their “secrets to success” and what has made them successful thus far in their careers!! A pretty cool vid to check out to hear the perspective from hip-hop moguls’ points of view. LMAO at: “Diddy blog, diddy blog bitches…” The gremlin (higher than average I.Q. fa sho) and Diddy try to drop some knowledge…
Definitely a funny vid, with some iight advice: “Be You, Do You.“
Here is the new music video for the song “Foolish (Remix)” by none other than Shawty Lo (Hello!!) straight outta Bankhead (wussup T.I.??)… Anyways, pretty dope lineup here with a solid bump for the whip!! Hallah at ya boy for this foolish remix of Foolish!! How did y’all like playboy with the Vocoder?? SMH, smh.
Here is Part 1 of Jim Jones’ “The True Jim Jones Documentary.” Definitely looks interesting and funny… Something to peep if you are interested in hearing about a guy who is runnin the streets and has managed to get 3 major record deals and top-notch positions at major labels!! Holla at Jimmy!!
Here is Part 2 of “The True Jim Jones Documentary.” Definitely something cool to watch and to go deeper inside the life of a Harlem street gang-banger!! Apparently, he wears a mean dark pair of shades?? Ballin??
Lil Wayne and The Game perform a new Jay-Z-sampled song “Red Porsches” in Anaheim on Saturday. This joint will be off of The Game’s upcoming album L.A.X. You can’t hear it on this vid very well, but stay tuned!! Sounded like the song’s chorus said: “Red Porsches, rare portraits, Red glocks if you dare come near the fortress…” Definitely from the song “Roc Boys (And The Winner Is Hov)…” Sounds fairly hot tho, looking forward to hearing the studio version!!
Here are a couple clips from Bun B’s new DVD called “U.G.K. 4 Life.” This shit was compiled by The Raw Report… If you are a fan of Bun B, you should definitely check it out!!
