Here is a new jawn from the homey Blu… Definitely a nice laid-back track that is on point to be considered “real hip-hop.” The music video here is of the track, “Buy Me Lunch.” Peep the vid and check out some more of the homey Blu… He’s got some solid shit, yao meen!?!?
Here we have some exclusive, unreleased “Behind The Scenes Footage” of my current favorite rapper, Lupe Fiasco. This footage is behind the scenes of his latest music video for his song “Paris, Tokyo” off of his latest album: The Cool. Definitely always cool to chill with the homey Lu. Still waitin on LupEND tho’…
Here is KRS-One being interviewed (awhile ago) discussing Kanye West’s “Graduation” album… He kind of rips on Kanye West and his music. He also brags up the “Curtis” album… I don’t like KRS-One for his comments and have never been big a fan of his music. I know and respect the fact that he makes real hip-hop that many people enjoy and can relate to, but most of his shit I don’t bump… His “Flashing Lights” comment is a bit over the top…
KRS-1 also says some shit in this video that is very true and that people should listen to… Real talk right here, except for the bullshit about Kanye and Curtis’ albums.
Here is Brother J of The X-Clan, returning with a message about the trials of incarceration and the prison industry in his latest music video for the track “Prison.” This vid. features Christian Scott on the saxophone and is from his latest album “Return From Mecca.” Wraithe for Kinetik Cinematix was the director… I’m not personally feeling the song, but I understand the message… The saxophone sounds dope!! Check it out playboys!!
Here is an older, dope mixtape by the D.M.V. (DC/Maryland/Virginia) representer WALE (We Ain’t Like Everyone). Anyways, I’ve had this gem for awhile and figured I’d drop it on the blog. Wale – in my opinion – is the next rapper to blow. He hit the summer of 2008 hard with his The Mixtape About Nothing and is steady on the grizzy!! While you are waiting for some new Wale, take a second and appreciate some of the classic mixtape ish he’s already dropped un yuh!! Peep the download below!!

Here is a new joint by the Bronx, NY native, Mickey Factz. He has been creating quite a buzz online lately and is definitely an up-n-comer to be on the lookout for. This leak is pretty dope, so you best be peepin the d-L below!!
Mickey says:
“Name another rapper since Kane this extravagant.” One word describes the uniqueness I’m delivering to Hip Hop. One adjective conveys the hysteria I’ve created in 6 months. This one phrase explains how I’ve gained fans of lyricists, tastemakers, teenagers, party-goers and all around humans: Incredible. Ask anybody about me. Download it off the link below:
Here we have Cormega, Big Noyd, Infamous Mobb, Blaq Poet, Hostyle, The NYG’z and pretty much the entire Queens Bridge paying homage to the deceased KL (R.I.P.) – a member of the group Screwball. Be sure to peep the vid and stay updated on the positivity and love shown in the vid!!
Here’s another new track by the highly-conscious hip-hop artist: Common. This track “Announcement,” featuring Pharrell (on the production too), will probably be featured on his upcoming album Invincible Summer, which will be released this Fall… Luckily the album title will still be relevant…(pssh) Anyways, you know where to peep the download… (look around)
