I’ve been really enjoying watching Wiz Khalifa on his grizzy as of late. He’s dropped some hot joints… Now, dude decided to shoot a music video for his heavily-Alice Deejay-sampled track “Say Yeah.” The instrumental for this track sounds nearly identical to Alice Deejay’s track “Better Off Alone.” I like Alice’s track a lot. Wiz puts a rap-music twist on this joint. Check out his version, plus – Alice Deejay’s music video after the JUMP [click "continue reading" below]…
The NYC mixtape is on his grind and has been making plenty of moves lately. I haven’t bumped this full mixtape yet, but saw that it has been out for awhile… So, for all the fans of Fokis or anyone who enjoyed his previous ish… If you aren’t familiar with duke, check out his myspace here. Otherwise, hit up the link below to check out his latest mixtape entitled “Fully Focused.” Hard work pays off…
Here we have some wannabe Heath Leger and a wannabe Batman making a little comedy spoof in which the Batman proceeds to talk the same as he did in the movie mumble. I thought they kind of hit the nail on the head w/ Batman’s voice here. Towards the end of the clip when the Joker kept getting punched in the face, I started laughing pretty hard. The joker should’ve punched this dude back and then cracked a funny joke at the end, but whatev’r – still hilarious. Shouts to MonkeyandApple for the clip! A last F-Y-I – Batman was IS a dope movie.
Here we have some new Jay-Z bitches! Fresh off of his upcoming album? [*Jeezy voice* "Yeeeeeeeaaaaaayh"...] entitled – you guessed it – “The Blueprint 3.” We don’t have the full track yet, but we do have a short clip of some live footage. Above is the video of the clip and below we have a link where you can listen and download that ish if you are that hardcore about the preview! Although it doesn’t sound completely clear, you know it’ll sound dope once it drops! *Stoked* for that new Jay Hova. “Jockin’ Jay-Z, jockin, jockin, jockin Jay-Z.”
Here we have my dude Saigitty chillin with Dj Envy for a cool little interview. Sai talks about his “beef” with Joe Budden, throwing punches, and his album? Hmm… I’m definitely interested to hear more about his album and really am hoping that it will actually hit shelves sometime this fall… He has released some quality mixtapes and has ish on iTunes that you should all check out. Shout out once again to Saigitty!
All I really gotta say about this track is DAMN. Once again, [with a Dj Drama voice] “All I gotta say about this track is: DAMN.” Anyways, if you don’t check this out you’ll like this shit from Ludacris’ upcoming album “Theatre of The Mind.” The album drops in October (21st) so you better save up the measly $10 dollars it costs to cop an album and get ready to purchase for Luda! Shout out to Dj Toomp for the phat beat on this one! Anyways, “all these haters wanna grill me.”“So many wires in my trunk it looks like a bowl of spaghetti.”“So many shoes that my closet look like Finish Line.” “Got more candy than your Valentine.” – Haha, just got carried away with some lyrics from this joint.
Clifford Harris has really been prepping for his upcoming album “Paper Trail.” Based on the songs I’ve heard thus far, the album is definitely quality. For this track called “Like I Do” – T.I. was talking to the ladies out there. It’s a slower song, but definitely worth hearing… I think it’s SOLID. Plus, Cliff managed to hook up with The-Dream for an awesome chorus… I’m definitely a fan of both artists here, so be sure to check it out! Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it’s a Jazzy Phizzle productshizzle… [Jazzy's beats work real well with T.I.P.]
Peter Gunz’ son has been on the grind as of late, dropping tracks steady and everyone seems to enjoy it. I’m a fan of Cory Gunz, and I know y’all have been waiting to hear more from him since his Rapid Fire ’09 freestyle, so – I figured you needed to hear the dude’s latest mixtape. You know how he spits, his verse from “A Milli” and you know that dude can go hard. I haven’t taken a full listen to this badboy yet, but you better believe I’m gon play this ish 2nite.
