Lupe Fiasco – Dope Boys (Remix) f. Wale, Kardinal Offishall

All I really gotta say is “Dope Boys (Remix)” is incredible. I heard the original version starring Lupe Fiasco a long time ago and it was dope, but a little too short. Well, Greg Street and Don Cannon created a mix that features the DMV native Wale on the track as well as the impeccable Kardinal Offishall.  This remix is definitely better than the original version!  It’s longer, and has more dope rhymes.  I love it! Thank you Greg Street! Have a listen below.

Reks – Year Of The Showoff (prod. Statik Selektah)

Here is a joint by the dope dude Reks. It’s called “Year of The Showoff” and is produced by the ever-so-dope Statik Selektah. Be sure to go out and support Reks by coppin’ his album “More Grey Hairs.”  Reks is real lyrical and represents real, quality hip-hop music.  I like the vibe with this one.  Statik did a good job on the beat, and Reks tore this track a new one. “I rap like no one out there can fuck wit me.”

Black Rob – Swing Ya Rag vs. Like Whoa [Big Steve Gee Blend]

A new joint by the homey Black Rob?  Nah.  It’s a Big Steve Gee blend of Black Rob’s “Like Whoa” verses with the Swizz Beatz laced “Swing Ya Rag” instrumental.  Though I haven’t heard much of anything from the dude Black Rob in a long time, this is a cool track.  I prefer the original version “Like Whoa” better, but this works too… Check out the listen below!
