Hey everybody, just wanted to say that I’m in the process of starting some new music projects… I’ll keep y’all updated as they progress and will still consider re-upping this website. It’s still drawing in tons of traffic, but the fact that it hasn’t been updated for awhile (months) means a slow decline.
Anyways, I’ve still been listening to tons of hip hop music, and have not fallen off the map entirely. A couple of things regarding projects that I’m looking forward to and recommend.
If you do not yet have Kid Cudi’s album “Man on the Moon” – you owe it to yourself to buy a copy – best damn album I’ve heard yet this year. Who else is doing it big? Raekwon’s release of OB4CL2 is heatrock for the Rae fans of the world. Get Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings” like the rest of the world if you don’t have it yet… its piffery.
Sean Price (get Kimbo Price if you ain’t got it yet)… look out for Mic Tyson! Upcoming projects to lookout for include: WALE – Attention Deficit (Nov 10), The Clipse – Til The Casket Drops, 50 Cent – Before I Self Destruct, Joell Ortiz – Free Agent, Snoop Dogg – Malice In Wonderland, Wiz Khalifa – Deal or No Deal, Game – R.E.D. Album, Gucci Mane – The State vs. Radric Davis (BURR)…haha
A few artists to keep your eyes on include: Big Sean, Mike Posner, and Lupe Fiasco… The first 2 are just getting started, and Lupe has been touring for awhile, so watch out for LASERS!
This looks interesting, probably something that I’m gon check out. Read up below for the description of the documentary:
“Tyson” is acclaimed indie director James Toback’s stylistically inventive portrait of a mesmerizing Mike Tyson. Toback allows Tyson to reveal himself without inhibition and with eloquence and a pervasive vulnerability.
Here’s the entire interview that went down with Jim Cramer from CNBC’s “Mad Money” on Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show.” I really like how Jon Stewart wasn’t afraid to call out the financial advisers for certain networks like CNBC. I do think that it is unwise to watch financial shows for advice, esp. given the current economy… I don’t trust any of those TV fiends with mah dinero. And honestly, I think the majority of financial advisers are MUCH WORSE than Cramer. Somebody’s gotta take the heat though. Good interview here by Stew – hit the JUMP (below) for Part 2 & Part 3!
Here’s a pretty funny vid that I stumbled upon that Jabo0ody Dubs put together promoting some Billy Mays – who has nothin but faaantastic products. “A chain, a f*cking chain, you can put your hand under the brick, it works.” – haha
This policeman resigned after saying the “N-Word.” Check up on the footage that WSHH got – and that ATL Hustlers sent my way… Ignorance = the opposite of bliss.
Here’s an incredible buzzer-beating shot from Devin Harris that went down against the Sixers… If you missed it – you should definitely peep the clip above and see what’s good with Devin in this one! Definitely siiiiiiiick!
Jay Smooth calls out the NY Post for being racist against Chimpanzee. Definitely a horrible story about that 55 y.o. woman getting attacked… Definitely poor judgment by the Post.
Directed by Tarsem, this commercial features Kevin Garnett on a Monty Python style quest for “G.” Looks like he missed the last campaign featuring Lil’ Wayne, but you should check this one and see what’s good with KG… Celtics > Lakers… haha 7 Minutes 34 seconds long…
