Tony Yayo dropped the official “Haters video” featuring 50 Cent, Shawty Lo (best feature), and Kidd Kidd. To be completely honest, this is the only good song that Yayo has come out with in awhile. I like it and it’s got a good vibe, but most of the material on the Tony Yayo Meyer Lansky mixtape was pathetic. For this video he got the dope Mr. Boomtown on the production with Jamie Clark on the production. For some reason, they decided to include Kidd Kidd and removed the feature from Roscoe Dash (who was featured on the original version). You can still hear Roscoe adlibs in the instrumental if you listen closely.
Tony Yayo – Haters Video (Official) (feat. 50 Cent, Shawty Lo, Kidd Kidd)
As you can see by the video, it’s one big party and is pretty solid. I was actually pretty surprised that Kidd Kidd delivered a pretty solid verse on this one because I don’t think he’s very good. Most artists would do the damn thing on this track though so it’s really not too tough to sound great on a dope instrumental like this one… Curtis and Shawty Lo are the two MVP’s in my opinion on this one and Roscoe would have been if they wouldn’t have taken him out. Anyways, you can cop the track on iTunes right now or get it on recent mixtapes that have dropped… Click here to read more.. »
Shawty Lo is back with his B.H.F. mixtape a.k.a. “Bankhead Forever mixtape” because Shawty Lo’s from Bankhead (a region of Atlanta, Georgia). Oh and the B.H.F. mixtape is hosted by Greg Street . I remember back in the day when he was calling out T.I. on not being from Bankhead because that’s where he grew up and never saw T.I. around. I remember that Carlos always bragged about being arrested and committing crimes and pretty much about doing hood rat stuff with his friends (word to Mr. L. Milton).
Anyways, he’s back and dropped this mixtape pretty much to celebrate the fact that 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) signed him to G-Unit for a million dollars (maybe not that exact amount though there are tons of rumors regarding the dollar amount). Anyways, word is that they have a 50/50 deal as of now and they figured that it would be mutually beneficial to both 50 Cent and Shawty Lo. Oh and the group that he’s in named “D4L” who had that annoying song that people liked called “Laffy Taffy” is also signed as part of the deal.

Shawty Lo Signs to G-Unit with 50 Cent with D4L
How in the world did Shawty Lo sign with G-Unit Records and 50 Cent? He took the time to sit down with 50 Cent and they had a good vibe or chemistry. In other words, real recognized real and now he’s affiliated with the labels D4L/G-Unit in combination. He said that he “had a couple of meetings with a lot of labels” but he felt that they wouldn’t be as good of a fit for him as Curtis Jackson and company.
So how much money did Shawty Lo sign for with G-Unit? Allegedly it’s just a 50 50 deal split so basically they did a deal where 50 Cent gets half of the money and Shawty Lo and company get the other half. 50 Cent will give him the help and promotion that he needs and Shawty Lo will reciprocate to make it a win-win situation by making good music; it’s a simple concept. Here is a dope track that I never posted by YG… The Toot It and Boot It Remix is wayfa king better than the original version… 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg make dope contributions, however YG can’t really rap their way out of a wet paper bag. The chorus is flyyyyoutder tho…
This track “Raid” by Pusha T off of his “Fear of God mixtape” is the best on the tape and one of the best I’ve heard from Pusha in awhile. Curtis and Pharrell accompany him and both sound dope on the track. 50 straight up murks this shit. If you didn’t get the mixtape, you’re missing out on some dopeness fur shiz.
As reported above by Curtis himself, he’s gon drop 2 albums in 2009! Definitely a good look…. 2009 is shaping up to be an ill year… Some albums I’m esp. looking forward to included “Til The Casket Drops,” “Relapse,” (plus another album) “Deeper Than Rap,” “Before I Self Destruct,” and of course Jay-Z’s “BP3” / Andre3K’s / Kanyeezy’s and another potential Weezy F (no, not the rock album) and Dr. Dre’s DETOX!!!… Plus, Asher, KiD CuDi, another Saigon album, and PLENTY MORE! Gonna be a disgustingly dope year!
In this new episode Pimpin Curly gets high like never before and starts trippin… Curly is definitely reppin with the toons (and the sextape), but to be honest, I just wanna hear and compare Curtis’ album to “Deeper Than Rap,” – I think da BAWSE came thru with a quality albie.
Here’s the latest episode of 50 Cent’s “Pimpin Curly” with “Officer Ricky: In To Deep (Hey Baby)”… Also, the sextape featuring Rick Ross’ baby mama has officially dropped. Not sure if I’m finna feature that on the site.
Here’s a hilarious interview that went down with Ricky Rawse da BAWSE. He talks about his upcoming album “Deeper Than Rap” coming on April 21st. See what’s good. When asked about being a correctional officer, there is an awkward pause. He says… “I did a lotta things to get money.” Belieeeeee dat!
