Grafh is here with his official “It’s Just Music video” featuring Joe Budden and Shalone. I gave it a listen and was actually disappointed despite the fact that everyone seemed to be feeling it on the comments section of other sites. For me it seems like Grafh used to be better back in the day and now he just doesn’t have as many skills on the mic. His grind is there, dude works hard and is always putting out music, but the skill needs to be built up. Joe Budden(s) is clearly the MVP on this track and actually does a pretty damn good job with his verse… I like how he ends it with “can’t tell em my stocks rising they ain’t watching the Graph/Grafh“… Grafh doesn’t sound “bad” per se, and has decent lyrics, but he really needs to work on his lyrical creativity. Lines like “the world in my hand like two small titties” are not very good.
Grafh – It’s Just Music Video (feat. Joe Budden & Shalone) (Official)
I’m not too familiar with Shalone, but I’m not going to rip on him too much, the chorus was borderline solid. It’s a chorus I can definitely deal with, but I’d say that the best part of the track was the Budden feature as well as the instrumental. The track was brought to you by Smokestack Recordings and Pace Media. As a whole, I thought that the video was cool, the track was moderately good, and it doesn’t really deserve hate. I just think that these artists are capable of doing better. Click here to read more.. »
