Lil Wayne – How To Love Video (Official Download + Lyrics)

Lil Wayne is here with his official “How To Love video” off of his Tha Carter IV album which is coming soon. In fact, it’s set to be released digitally the night of the VMAs in order take full advantage of that hype and buzz. I’m wondering whether the project will outsell “Watch The Throne” but honestly don’t care if it does because I don’t think the quality will be as high as Jay-Z and Mr. West set. The one thing I like about Weezy though is that he isn’t afraid to mix things up and is one of the most competitive people in his craft. I think that the competitive energy is what draws people into his music and causes him to always push himself to do something different.

Lil Wayne – How To Love Video (Official)

I can understand why people like the song “How To Love” but to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of it. It is a commercial song, but it’s not something you’re going to find me listening to when his album drops. If I could pick any Wayne to listen to, it would be back in the good old days when he was working heavily with Mannie Fresh. I’m actually kind of depressed that him and Mannie no longer are working together because they both are incredibly talented at what they do.

Mannie though I know is trying to overcome some mental obstacles after leaving Cash Money and coping with the death of his daughter. Songs like “Bring It Back” and “Go DJ” are two of my most played Wayne jams of all time.  What’s hilarious is that I’d guess that most fans of Wayne these days have no clue about songs like “Tha Block Is Hot,” the entire “500 Degreez album,” or know who B.G., Turk, and Juvenile were… It’s unfortunate.  Juvenile needs to start putting out more music so I can at least post him up…  Click here to read more.. »

Lil Wayne – Tha Carter IV Album Artwork + Tracklist (Official Preview)

Lil Wayne pushed back “Tha Carter IV album” to August 29, 2011 and let the fans know with his latest “Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape” which had some really dope material on there.  Then later he did a “Single Ladies freestyle” that surfaced online for people to see (he was just messing around having fun with friends).  I’ve been a Lil Wayne fan for as long as I can remember, and although I’m definitely going to buy this album, I’m just not that excited for it for some reason.  I think the album is going to be solid, but my favorite project from Weezy F is still his “Tha Carter album” partially because he had Mannie Fresh on there and they had great chemistry, and partly because he had different flows on there than what I’m used to hearing from him now.

Lil Wayne – Tha Carter IV Album Artwork (Official)

The tracklist below is official according to the UK Amazon website… There could be differences in regards to the finalized tracklist between the U.S. and UK version because there was with his “Tha Carter III” album in terms of bonus tracks that were included. On the UK version for that he had included “Lights Camera Action” as a bonus and the U.S. version did not. Anyways, it looks like he’s got some dope tracks that we’ve already heard such as “6’7′ feat. Cory Gunz” as well as “John (If I Die Today) feat. Rick Ross” and that’s pretty much it. As you already probably expected, he’s got Drake (for a couple tracks; one with Jadakiss) as well as T-Pain. Click here to read more.. »

Lil Wayne Drops In At Skatepark of Tampa / Single Ladies Freestyle (Videos)

Lil Wayne is easily one of the most down to Earth rappers… With success comes hate and there are a lot of people that like to hate on Weezy.  Although he’s not my favorite artist, I make damn sure I listen to all of his material when it drops. You see him everywhere, he’s with Skip Bayless on ESPN winning the Skippy Awards, he does bowling for charity with Chris Paul and Nelly, he’s touring all the time, he doesn’t sleep much, and here he is after a show doing a drop in at the Stakepark of Tampa… dope.  Obviously the “Sorry 4 the Wait Mixtape” has been out for awhile and you should have that already… Weezy stays in the hip hop news all the time – in fact, he’s getting sued for $15 million for allegedly stealing the smash hit song “BedRock”…

Lil Wayne Drops in at SkatePark of Tampa, Florida (Video)

Here’s what they had to say about the footage:

After I left at about 4am this morning while Weezy and crew were still skating, Porpe stayed behind to take care of them and close up the Park. He filmed Lil Wayne saying some nice words about Skatepark of Tampa plus some footage of him dropping in at the Bowl. That sure looked like a fun 5am session. Thanks for stopping by, Wayne. Thanks for filming and shooting photos, Porpe. More photos at skateparkoftampa.com/weezy“… Click here to read more.. »

Lil Wayne – Sorry 4 The Wait Mixtape (Download Official)

Lil Wayne apologizes with the new “Sorry 4 The Wait mixtape” for the fact that his album “Tha Carter IV” got pushed back; hence the title “sorry for the wait.” I was debating on whether or not I should even post this mixtape up since I know it will be spammed across so many blogs and spread like wildfire, but at the end of the day, I’m a fan of Lil Wayne and have been before the majority of people. This guy is so damn popular that no matter what he comes out with, people are going to say that they love it without even giving proper criticism.

Lil Wayne – Sorry 4 The Wait (Album Artwork)

I think that the artwork is pretty damn dope and that Lil Wayne chose some quality beats to go in on. One instrumental that I’m glad he chose was YC’s song “Racks on Racks” because I would have liked to have heard him on the original (super extended) remix that dropped earlier in the summer. I was also glad that he goes in over the Kreayshawn Gucci Gucci instrumental because I’ve been listening to that track by her a lot lately (if you want you can check out her very wack Kittys X Choppas mixtape); his homies got that white girl, call her Lady Gaga.  Anyways, I break down more instrumentals as well as the features below which you can read about if you are interested. Additionally, the tracklist and download link is below courtesy of WeezyThanxYou. Click here to read more.. »

Young Jeezy – Ballin Video (Official) feat. Lil Wayne (Download + Lyrics)

Young Jeezy is back with his officialBallin video” featuring Lil Wayne and production from Lil Lody. In this song, Young Jeezy says, “You think you ballin cuz you got a block.” This track is off of his upcoming “Thug Motivation 103 album” which is scheduled to be released at some point in 2011 although no exact date has been confirmed. I’m a fan of Young Jeezy and know that he’s capable of making music that is highly motivating and he’s in his own lane. Anyways, in case you didn’t know TM 103 is going to be his fourth studio album and it’s going to drop through CTE (Corporate Thugz Entertainment), Def Jam, Interscope, Columbia, and Decon Records later this year. Side note: holy crap that’s a lot of record company affiliations.

Young Jeezy Ballin Video (Official) (featuring Lil Wayne)

In the video, you can see Young Jeezy rolling up in some nice new cars with his CTE clique and they watch some guys play some basketball in the streets. I thought that the video was well done so shout out to Collin Tilley on the directing, he did a good job. If you really like this track and don’t already have it, you can hit up a copy below for download on iTunes. Sorry I don’t throw out free download links like most other blogs unless the track is specified to be released for free. So if you have the money to purchase the song and enjoy it, why not just buy it? It’s one freaking dollar which isn’t that much money if you actually work and know how to manage money.

Lil Wayne – John (If I Die Today) (feat. Rick Ross)

“I pay these niggas wit a reality check” – Wayne

This is my fucking motivational song right meow by Lil Wayne called “John [If I Die] feat Rozay.  Rick Ross has a chopper in the car (which makes sense cuz he’s prolly still workin with the Miami police force) and Wayne loads up the choppers like it’s December 31st… Although Lex Luger is NOT on the beat, the production is still fucking dope… I don’t know that we would remember Wayne like “John Lennon” but that’s how he wants us to remember him I guess… Dope track nonetheless.
